Whom to Blame: Is it my SEO apps or is it Google?

I confess. Prior to hearing about SEO products and Web promotion field, I was of the opinion that Google was incredible. I Used Google to look for anything from friends, to pictures, to news to weird gadgets and naively trusted the search outcomes. Then I learned about SEO tools and an entire e-commerce centered on promoting sites, and things changed. But even prior to that, after doing some introspective reading, I got an inkling that search engines, Google to boot, know far from everything, and reveal to the users even less than what they know.

My Google escapades soon persuaded me that Flikr is a higher quality image search source, that with the help of social bookmarking tools I can have great current events stories without having to rummage through Google SERPs (rummaging is more descriptive than Google search), and human search is better managed by Facebook. It seems that every time I look for strange gadgets on Google, the results are almost always messy, to put it kindly. Try Googling for SEO programs and other SEO relevant subjects on Google and you are just about prepared to give up your sanity. I mean, seriously, what’s the connection between SEO applications and employment sites or Internet casinos? It happens in my frustrations.

So when news of seo management software and the whole field built around it came into my humble worldview, my doubts about sites appearing on page one of Google grew manifold. Do they merit to be there and who is to blame, Google or site promoters using SEO programs. The ethical quandary is huge. Do I quit using my SEO google rank checker or do I stop using Google instead? I decided that I can’t turn away from Google just yet. At least not till the decent competitor enters the game. For now I will keep juggling between Blekko, Google and the above methods to complement the SERP mess that Google is. And, oh,yes, I will continue using my SEO apps.

Frankly, SEO tools is the reason why folks like myself get discovered on the net. intelligent as they are, Google web crawlers are not likely to find some average guy and index his website well. In this respect, I am an unyielding fan of SEO applications and organic search. If it was all about the cash, the multinational giants would destroy me before I knew it. And there are 1000 organizations on the Fortune roll! But here is another thing that annoys me and other backlink check users, I am certain. There are individuals who buy SEO programs and use them to sell shoeson online education sites and such. What we see is rubbish that not only lives on the web but is also well positioned by Google.

What is the user reaction to this? People search for SEO application reviews and will instead find unrelated search findings. They get disillusioned. So much for the “Internet equality”. Does this indicate that SEO application and service field is harmful? Probably not.

The abusers of SEO products have to stop brutalizing the Net but it’s like ordering hackers to stop cracking the code. The unfortunate thing about it is that black hat SEOs are overusing the chance to be noticeable on the Net that is given to the average person like myself. For now people just have to live with them. One can only wish that Google will put more effort into finding the schemers abusing SEO products, and if Google doesn’t, the big Google will.
